The managers of the Trevi Group teach the students of the Pascal Comandini high school in Cesena

At the basis of the project, which started this morning, is the exchange between professionals and young people to stimulate the learning of new skills through the story of experiences gained in the field.

The Trevi Group has developed an innovative project together with the Pascal Comandini Higher Institute of Cesena that will see some company professionals take on the role of the teacher. The idea is to bring in the classroom, in addition to knowledge, above all the work experience gained in the field in order to transfer to young students experiences and notions that escape educational programs.

The initiative officially started this morning (Wednesday 16 February) with the first "institutional interventions" and will continue, lesson after lesson, until next May. Initially two fourth classes will be involved, a mechanical section and an electrician-electronic section, for a total of 45 children.

Several Trevi and Soilmec departments involved in the project: HR Trevi and Soilmec division, Recruitment & Employer Branding, Marketing & Business Soilmec, Engineering & Service Soilmec, Design Engineering Soilmec, Standards & Safety Design Soilmec, Dms & Iot Soilmec, Electrical Engineering Soilmec, Hydrhulic Engineering Soilmec, Workshop & Maintenance Trevi and Plant & Equipment Trevi, QHSE Corporate and Corporate Communication

"The project initiated by the Trevi Group with our school is 'the perfect project' to bring young people closer to the world of work", declared Francesco Postiglione, dean of the "IS Pascal Comandini" Institute who, together with the professor of history and philosophy Gabriella Montemurro and the professor of mechanical technology and application Giovanni Neri, pulled the strings of the project on behalf of the professional institute. “The first year there is the meeting with the company through hours of training, in the classroom, in the academy model, in the following year there is the real internship, and at the end a pre-employment for the best. This is exactly what the school-company dynamic in a vocational school should do ".

"We are proud to have collaborated with the 'IS Pascal Comandini' Institute for the definition of a project with a high social value", underlines Pio Franchini, director of human resources of the Trevi Group. "Thanks to this initiative, the company can make its know-how available to young students in the area to help and support them in their learning path and approaching the world of work. This too is a precise way, in addition to the economic one, of creating and spreading value on the territory. A concrete example of corporate social responsibility ".
